From the spine-tingling scores heard in The Exorcist and Psycho to Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”, prepare to hear haunting melodies performed on strings and kick off the Halloween celebrations in a compeltely new and unique way.

First Unitarian Church will be lit up by a sea of flickering candles on October 13 to provide the bewitching ambiance for this unforgettable tribute to all things scary. Kennedy String Quartet will be working their magic on film scores heard in A Nightmare on Elm Street, The Addams Family, Young Frankenstein and many more spooky movies and TV shows. Celebrate the frightening festivities while enveloped by a sea of flickering candles and relive your favorite scary scenes from iconic horror franchises.
Get ready to be dazzled by the magic of these Candlelight Halloween concerts taking place in some of Baltimore’s most beautiful locations. The Candlelight series takes place twice each night with two back-to-back concerts. Each concert lasts 65 minutes and doors open 45 minutes prior to the start time.
