It might look like a standard watering hole from the street, but the moment you cross the threshold of this unusual bar, the atmosphere shifts. Inspired by gothic tales, classic cinema, and those legendary horror tropes that made us all afraid to answer the phone or investigate a noise upstairs, The Nightmare Bar drops you directly into the storyline.
Upgraded for 2026 by a brand-new creative team, this experience transforms dark theater into an unforgettable nightlife adventure filled with candlelit parlors, eerie surprises, and mysterious masked strangers lurking in the shadows. Step inside and experience the terror firsthand before it’s gone.

Inside Baltimore’s must-see immersive horror pop-up bar
The Nightmare Bar is more than just a spot to grab a drink—it’s an interactive, 90-minute challenge. As you navigate the venue’s immersive games and challenges, you’ll be put to the test by answering payphones that definitely shouldn’t be ringing, decoding cryptic messages, and scouring hidden drawers for clues before time runs out. Between challenges, you can steady your nerves with a lineup of devilishly themed cocktails and spooky nibbles, all while snapping photos inside killer, horror-inspired sets. Are you up to the challenge?
Costumes are strongly encouraged, so dress to impress—or scare. Whether you go as a classic horror icon or a ghoul of your own making, all creatures of the night are welcome.
